British human shield shot in Gaza Strip
Israeli troops shot a British peace activist with the International Solidarity Movement in the Gaza Strip today, witnesses said.
The man was reportedly acting as a human shield between Israeli troops and Palestinian children in the town of Rafah.
Rachel Corrie, an American activist working with the group, was killed last month in Gaza when she fell in front of an Israeli bulldozer.
Last week, another American activist with the group – Brian Avery – was shot in the West Bank city of Jenin.
