Red Cross truck comes under fire in Baghdad
The International Committee of the Red Cross is angry and concerned after one of its marked trucks travelling in convoy was hit by gunfire in Baghdad.
A Canadian Red Cross worker was injured in the attack and is missing.
Secretary General of the Irish Red Cross, Carmel Dunne, says its extremely worrying.
"We know that somebody has been injured and is missing and that two other people escaped. It was a clearly marked Red Cross vehicle and was accompanied by other vehicles, so they are not sure whether it was gunfire, crossfire or whether it was an actual attack", she said.
