NZ apologises for PM's comments
New Zealand diplomats have apologised to Washington after the country's Prime Minister Helen Clark said the war with Iraq would not have happened if Al Gore was in the White House.
“I judged in the end that because things had been read into the comment which I never intended, there was something to put right and I’ve done that,” Clark said today on New Zealand’s TV One.
