Fight for Baghdad 'far from over'

The fight for Baghdad is “far from over” despite a raid into its centre by US troops today, a military spokesman at Central Command in Qatar said today.

“Victory will come, of that there is no doubt, but this fight is far from over,” Major General Victor Renuart told reporters.
