Baghdad bombardment goes on

Fierce bombardment of Baghdad saw a series of major explosions reverberate through the city today, igniting an inferno in the Iraqi ministry of information.

Allied bombs apparently also tore into a palace belonging to Saddam Hussein’s son Qusay, for a second time, according to news agency reports.
