Al-Jazeera defends showing dead allies

Al-Jazeera, the Arab satellite television channel, today defended its decision to air footage of dead British and American soldiers.

“War has victims from both sides,” said editor in chief Ibrahim Hilal. “If you don’t show both sides, you are not covering” the war.
