Market bomb: Allies were targetting Iraqi missiles

Coalition aircraft were targeting missiles and launchers in a residential area of Baghdad at around the time of today’s explosion in a busy shopping street, a US military spokesman said.

The missiles were positioned less than 300 feet from homes when they were targeted.
