50 civilians killed near Basra, Trócaire reports

A spokeswoman for Trócaire has said that 50 Iraqi civilians were killed and 75 more injured in yesterday's attack on Basra.

Trócaire is funding medical supplies and equipment to cater for a potential 10,000 war-injured people throughout Iraq.
