Serb Premier dies in shooting

Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic has died after an apparent assassination attempt in Belgrade today.

Several gunshots were fired in front of a government building, local media reported.

Sources from his Cabinet said Djindjic sustained two shots in his stomach and back.

Two people were arrested and one was injured in the shooting, witnesses said.
