64% of Americans want UN approval over Iraq war
Almost two-thirds of Americans, 64%, want the US to wait for UN approval before attacking Iraq, a poll revealed today.
The CBS News survey found that 31% said they thought their country should act now against Iraq.
Almost three-quarters, 72%, said the US should take the views of allies into account before taking action, while 24% said Washington should do what it thinks is right – no matter what its allies think.
