Club fire death toll now rises to 54

The death toll in a fire at a US nightclub has continued to rise with 54 people now confirmed dead in the fire, it was confirmed today.

The fire started when a rock band lit fireworks during a pyrotechnics stage show at a rock concert at a Rhode Island club.

It is the second fatal US nightclub blaze this week.
