Mother and daughter flyers killed
A mother and her teenage daughter were killed when the small plane they were flying from Scotland crashed on to a frozen lake in Labrador on Canada’s eastern seaboard.
The 50-year-old woman and the 15-year-old had taken off from Prestwick and were delivering the plane to a buyer in the US state of Utah.
The Cessna 210 crashed on Lake Melville, about 500 miles north of Halifax, Nova Scotia, on Friday.
Their names were not released pending notification of relatives.
