Airport grenade suspect charged

A man was tonight charged under the Terrorism Act after a hand grenade was allegedly found in his luggage at Gatwick Airport, Scotland Yard said.

Hasil Mohammed Rahaham-Alan was stopped by Customs officers at Gatwick airport’s North Terminal on Thursday after arriving on a British Airways flight he had boarded in the Venezuelan capital of Caracas.
