Milosevic trial enters second year

Slobodan Milosevic’s war crimes trial began its second year today with the former Yugoslav leader facing potentially damaging testimony from his old military intelligence chief.

General Aleksander Vasiljevic said that in 1992 Milosevic purged the army of his opponents, saying he would “clean up” all those considered “unreliable”.
