LA firefighters rescue elephant

Los Angeles firefighters were called in when an 8,000lb elephant fell over at the city zoo and couldn’t get up again.

The fire crew and zoo staff used a tow truck, a crane and a forklift to move Tara. It took almost three hours to get two thick straps around the massive mammal.
