An airborne terrorist attack on the New York’s World Trade Centre Twin Towers was predicted by a hero who died saving 2,700 people from the September 11 outrage, it emerged today.

British born Rick Rescorla, 62, evacuated them from one of the towers where he was head of security for Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.
