Russia does not see any need for a new UN Security Council resolution that would authorise the use of force against Iraq Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov said today.

“We do not see today any grounds for passing a UN resolution that would envisage or sanction the use of force against Iraq,” he said in Moscow.
