Bush threatens war within weeks

George W Bush says he will give diplomacy on Iraq "weeks not months" and adds the US would welcome Saddam Hussein going into exile.

He closed ranks with allies supporting his hard line against Saddam Hussein, as the White House lashed out at critics, accusing them of "doing nothing about a growing menace."
