British reservist call-up rises to 6,000

Up to 6,000 Armed Forces reservists will be called-on for possible military operations against Iraq, confirms Defence Secretary Geoff Hoon.

The Ministry of Defence has already announced plans to mobilise 1,500 part-time soldiers, sailors and airmen.
