Suspected bomb plotters arrested in Kabul

Three men suspected of plotting terrorist activities were arrested by US special forces in a pre-dawn swoop in the Afghan capital Kabul today, the US military said.

The men were arrested along with explosive material at an undisclosed location in Kabul, said Colonel Roger King, a spokesman for the US military at Bagram Air Base, north of the Kabul.
