UN ready for key Iraq debate

The UN Security Council was preparing for a crucial meeting on Iraq today following tough reports by the arms inspectors and President Bush’s State of the Union address.

Council members appeared to be in broad agreement that Saddam Hussein needs to do more to cooperate with the inspector’s hunt for banned weapons.
