42 dead in Indian traffic accident

At least 42 people died today in eastern India when a passenger bus caught fire after colliding head-on with a truck.

Local reports said the area was shrouded in dense fog when the accident happened at about 5:00am local time. More than a dozen people were rushed to hospital.
