Iraqi scientists consider speaking to inspectors

Iraq said yesterday that it will encourage its scientists to submit to private interviews with the UN arms inspectors.

But in a country where even a hint of treason can cost lives and where the UN experts are reviled as spies, such interviews could be dangerous.
