Croc attack hearing underway
A court in Darwin, Australia, will decide in March whether a tour guide should face trial for the death of a German tourist killed by a crocodile.
Student Isabel von Jordan, 25, from Tutzing, was attacked by a crocodile on October 22 while swimming with a tour group at a waterhole in a national park in Australia’s Northern Territory.
Her sister later told German officials that the group’s guide, Glenn Robless, 46, had said the spot was safe for swimming. Police have accused him of being drunk when Ms von Jordan was killed.
