North and South Korea to meet

South Korea plans to use three different rounds of meetings with North Korea this week to try to defuse tension over Pyongyang’s push to develop nuclear weapons.

The first talks were due to start later today when Red Cross officials from both sides were meeting at the North’s Diamond Mountain resort.
