Israel snub peace plan

Israel’s prime minister Ariel Sharon has said a peace plan being worked out by the “quartet” of nations should not be taken seriously.

The group – the United Nations, United States, the European Union and Russia - was working on a peace plan that due to be officially presented to the Israelis and Palestinians next month.
