Bush approval rating falls in opinion poll

President George Bush’s job approval has slipped to 58% in a new US opinion poll, the first time it has fallen below 60% since before the September 11 terrorist attacks.

While still solid overall, his approval was down 5% from a week ago in the CNN-USA Today-Gallup poll.
