Hindu statue crushes worker
A giant statue of a Hindu god has toppled while under construction near the Indian capital New Delhi, killing at least one worker and injuring several others.
The 108 foot statue of the Hindu god Krishna fell over in the village of Narsinghpur on the outskirts of the Indian capital.
Police have confirmed one death but a newspaper says at least two workers were crushed under the cement statue and died at the scene.
The newspaper also says at least a dozen others were injured and four of them are in a critical condition.
