We'll talk to North Korea - Powell

US Secretary of State Colin Powell says the United States is willing to talk to North Korea to resolve the crisis over its nuclear weapons programme.

"We have channels open," Mr Powell said. "We have ways of communicating with North Korea. They know how to contact us."
