Afghan to probe crash
Investigators are trying to find out why a military helicopter crashed in flames in Afghanistan over the weekend, killing seven German peacekeepers.
It was the worst loss for the 4,800-strong international peacekeeping force since its deployment a year ago to help provide security in Kabul.
The Sikorsky CH-53 crashed as it returned to Kabul airport on Saturday after a routine patrol over the city. Witnesses saw fire before it crashed on a road in an industrial neighbourhood, but said it was not shot down.
