US says it will share weapons intelligence with UN

The United States says it's prepared to share intelligence with the UN weapons inspectors to enable them to check for hidden weapons.

It follows comments from chief weapons inspector, Hans Blix, who said neither the US nor Britain had given his team the support they needed.
