Police re-enact Bali bombing meetings

Eight suspects in the Bali bombings were flown to the central Indonesian town of Solo to re-enact meetings at which they allegedly planned the deadly blasts.

Police said the reconstructions at two houses rented by the bombing suspects were needed to find out more about the roles of those accused in the October 12 explosions, which killed 192 people.

Similar reconstructions will be held in the Lamongan in East Java, near where two of the main suspects lived.

"This is to prove they really held meetings here," Pastika said. "We will cross-check what we get here with what we have learned in Bali."

More than two dozen people have been arrested in connection with the blasts, and police expect to charge 15 people with direct involvement in the bombings.
