Israeli police dismantle West Bank settlement

Israeli police and troops have evicted about 200 Israelis who set up an illegal settlement at the spot where Palestinian gunmen last month killed 12 soldiers and settlers.

The unauthorised settlement, named "Heroes of Hebron" was built on Palestinian land along a lane used by Jewish worshippers travelling between shrines in Hebron and the nearby Kiryat Arba settlement.
