Kidnapped mother freed
The kidnapped mother of a top Russian oil executive was freed from kidnappers in Georgia’s separatist region of Abkhazia after spending more than a month in captivity.
Yelena Tkebuchava, who was kidnapped from her home in Abkhazia, was freed during a special police operation, said Almazbei Kchach, the Abkhazian interior minister. He said no ransom was paid.
