Israeli troops kill gunman in Gaza clash

Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian gunman during a fierce firefight in the Gaza Strip, the army said today.

A group of gunmen opened fire on the troops, who were posted near the Jewish settlement of Netzarim, the army said.
