Village shooting error 'a misunderstanding'

Reports of an armed raid on an Israeli village on the Egyptian border in which three people died were untrue, the Israeli military said today.

Israeli settlers had reported that three people were killed in an infiltration into the village of Yesha, on the Egyptian border not far from the Gaza Strip.
