Nato demands that Saddam complies

Prodded by George Bush and Tony Blair, Nato today demanded that Iraq “fully and immediately” comply with a UN resolution to disarm.

Opening a two day summit in Prague of the growing military alliance, the leaders of the 19 nation alliance issued a four paragraph statement saying, ”Nato allies stand united in their commitment to take effective action to assist and support the efforts of the UN to ensure full and immediate compliance by Iraq, without conditions or restrictions.
