Sharon: There will be a Palestinian state

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon tonight predicted that a Palestinian state would be created after the current round of Middle East violence ends.

In an interview with Israel’s Channel 2 TV, Sharon also said that Israel’s security chiefs have advised him not to expel Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, as demanded by several hardline ministers in his Cabinet.
