Security Council unanimously adopts Iraq resolution

The UN has unanimously approved a US resolution on Iraq to force Saddam Hussein to disarm or face consequences that almost certainly mean war.

The Security Council - including Ireland - voted 15-0 in favour of the resolution, hammered out by the US after consulting Russia and France.
