Suicide bomber attacks Israeli shopping centre

A suicide bomber blew himself up in an Israeli shopping mall tonight and and paramedics said there were many casualties.

The blast went off just after 6:15 pm (16.15pm Irish time) in the town of Kfar Saba, east of Tel Aviv and near the West Bank.

The bomber blew himself up near an electrical shop, Israel’s Channel 2 television reported.

Palestinian militants have frequently targeted the area during the past two years of Mideast violence.
