Death toll among Moscow theatre victims rises to 120

Another woman taken hostage in the Moscow theatre siege has died, bringing the death toll to 120.

She died because of heart problems according to Russian news agencies.

Two of the hostages were killed by rebel gunfire and the rest died from a gas used by Russian special forces.

Forty-one militants were killed in the storming of the theatre.

Dozens of heavily armed assailants seized the theatre on October 23 during a performance of a hit musical, Nord-Ost. Fifty-eight hours later, special forces stormed the theater, killing 41 militants.

Some 148 former hostages, including four children, remain hospitalised.
