Children among dead as storms hit Britain

Five people, including two children, were killed by falling trees and debris as gale force winds caused chaos across Britain, emergency services said today.

One of the youngsters was pronounced dead at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital after being struck at Costessey, on the outskirts of Norwich, Norfolk.
