Police in Tacoma are taking a new look at a killing in February after learning that sniper defendant John Allen Muhammad knew the family of the victim, a spokesman has said.

Keenya Cook, 21, was shot dead on February 16, this year, when she opened the door of her home. Her boyfriend was questioned in the case but cleared, police spokesman Jim Mattheis of Tacoma in the north-western state of Washington said on Friday.
