Let weapons inspectors work first - Russia

The question of whether to use military force against Iraq should only be decided after weapons inspectors have finished their work, Russia’s Defence Minister said last night.

“As far as military action, this question must be decided only by the UN Security Council and only after we get the results of the weapons inspectors’ work,” Sergei Ivanov said.
