At least four people were injured when a bus was attacked today near the northern Israeli town of Beit Shean.

At least four people were injured when a bus was attacked today near the northern Israeli town of Beit Shean.

Police spokesman Gil Kleiman said shots were fired at a bus and that four people suffered minor wounds. Initial police reports had said a bomb exploded on the vehicle.

Beit Shean is about 50 miles north of Jerusalem.

Palestinian militants have repeatedly attacked Israeli buses during their two-year uprising.
