Al-Qaida 'to blame for blasts'

Terrorists linked to Osama bin Laden were probably responsible for last night’s bomb blasts in Bali that killed more than 180 people, experts said today.

The resort of Kuta is a well-known destination for western tourists and this, combined with poor security in parts of Indonesia, would make Bali an obvious and easy target for bin Laden’s al Qaida network.
