Sniper claims 10th victim

Millions of terrified residents around Washington stayed locked in their homes today after an eighth killing was linked to the serial sniper stalking the area.

Father of six Kenneth Bridges, 53, of Philadelphia, was gunned down in a petrol station in Virginia, 30 miles south of the US capital, yesterday morning.
