One seriously injured in forecourt shooting

The governor of Virginia said one person was seriously injured in the shooting at an Exxon petrol station in Fredericksburg.

There were also unconfirmed reports that officers were in pursuit of a white van.

Witnesses reported seeing a white van leaving the area of two of the previous shootings.
