Pasta cert system cooked up

Italian food lovers worldwide will soon be able to tell just how Italian their favourite pasta is.

Starting next year, Italian restaurants outside Italy will be allowed to apply for official certificates of authenticity from a committee formed by Italy’s Forest and Agriculture Ministry, officials said in Rome today.
