The second stage of the inquiry into Britain’s worst serial killer is due to start today.

It will investigate how former GP, Harold Shipman, got away with murdering 100s of patients over a 23-year period.

The 56-year old, who practised in Hyde, Greater Manchester, is serving life in prison for the murders of 15 of his female patients.
